Welcome to the Mississippi Crop Improvement Association (MCIA), homepage. MCIA is the Official State Certification Agency for Mississippi. In 1941, the State Legislature established MCIA as a non-profit association to provide certification standards for genetic identity, purity & high quality seed, propagating materials and other agricultural products. Our membership is comprised of seedsmen within Mississippi that strive to provide superior varieties adhering to strict certification standards.
